A home cooked meal delivery service in these difficult times
Self-isolating can be a tedious and lonely time. With all restaurants closed, you might like someone to bring you a delicious meal to your home.
Here is a solution. Formerly I ran “Vallee Fare” in Meribel, a catering service which brought home cooked meals, freshly prepared and delivered to holiday makers in self-catered villas and apartments in the area. I now propose to offer a similar service here in the Canton: freshly prepared meals, delivered to your door. This may particularly interest anyone who feels uncomfortable about supermarket shopping and the somewhat risky contact that brings.
I will be cooking a daily special and offering a simple selection of cakes/desserts. There is also a selection of curries and a vegetarian meal. Any meals not required on the day, can be fast frozen.
Below is a menu and contact details. Please contact me if you would like to place an order, preferably the day before but even on the day you need it. I can then provide you with a meal.
Bringing the restaurant to your home. This is a contact free service. I will call in advance, drop the bag of prepared food, on your doorstep. You can either pay with a card or leave cash in an envelope.
All our hot food is blast chilled and comes to you cold, with detailed heating instructions.
We try to be as environmentally friendly as possible. All meals come in disposable foil or plastic containers, with easy to follow heating instructions. If you are re-ordering, we are delighted to supply your choices in (your own or our) re-usable dishes.

We will prepare a fresh “daily special” meal. A home cooked meal for you to enjoy in your own home. This will include the main plate and its accompanying side dishes. I can also offer a simple selection of desserts and cakes.
We also offer a selection of curries, with side dishes.
Daily specials
Monday Oven braised pork chops – with shallots and pears, cooked in cider and served with mash and fresh daily vegetables
Tuesday Beef Bourguignonne – classic French, slow cooked beef, marinated and cooked in red wine with shallots, lardon and mushrooms. Served with your choice of mash or rice and fresh daily vegetables
Wednesday Coq au vin – with dauphinoise potatoes and fresh daily vegetables.
Thursday Moroccan lamb – rich complex north African dish, flavoured with spices and fruit. Served with rice or herb couscous and fresh sambal
Friday Fish Pie – succulent fresh and smoked fish in a creamy sauce topped with spinach and fluffy mash and a crisp parmesan crust
Saturday Spanish meat balls. Delicious beef meat balls in a rich Spanish-style tomato, basil and red wine sauce, served with rice or mash and fresh daily vegetables
Vegetarian Vegetable lasagne, layers of roasted vegetable between sheets of lasagne pasta, topped with a rich creamy cheese sauce
Spicy all served with rice and sambals
Kashmiri Butter Chicken – medium hot chicken curry in a rich creamy Madras style sauce
Lamb sag – medium hot, tender pieces of lamb in an aromatic spinach sauce
Vegetable – chick pea, butternut and cauliflower, mild vegetarian korma curry
Desserts and Cakes
Chocolate brownies – a good piece of this gooey chocolate favourite € 3.00/ piece
Whole cakes and puddings serve 8 generously and cost €24.00. Have a slice after your meal and save the rest for tomorrow..

Delivery – a delivery charge may apply, depending on the size of the order and how far and how long the round trip will take to deliver to your door.
